- Luxury vinyl plank: water resistant, softer and warmer underfoot than tile, and quieter. A good fit for families and rentals.
- Hardwood: warm and classic, but spills need to be wiped up fast and it can dent or scratch.
The floor only lasts if the base under it is right. We pull the old flooring, check the subfloor or slab for cracks and low spots, level and patch it, then install. If your current floor is cracked, lifting or soft in spots, that is usually the time to replace it. Many customers do the floor during a kitchen remodel so it goes in with the new cabinets and counters.
